Ivan is an active and playful nine year old boy. Even though he struggles to communicate, he is affectionate. Ivan attends a specialized school, where he recognizes his teachers. Ivan will be adopted with his six year old sister, Elena.

Gender: Female

Location: Eastern Europe

Elena is a calm seven year old girl. She likes to be carried, rocked and hugged by her caregivers. She enjoys playing with toys that make noise, and prefers independent play. Elena does have additional needs that her forever family should be prepared to meet. Elena and her seven year old brother will be adopted together.

In addition to being considered for a MLJ Adoptions Special Needs grant, families interested in adopting Ivan and Elena may also be eligible to receive a reduction in program country fees.
