We’re proud to introduce to you Erik Deckers, one of our speakers for the Crossroads of America Adoption Conference (CAAC), taking place September 30 – October 1. Erik is an adoptive father and marketing communication specialist. He writes for newspapers in Indiana, writes a humor column, blogs, and assists clients as a social media consultant.

At the Crossroads of America Adoption Conferecnce Erik will be speaking on "Social media marketing for your non-profit/adoption organization." During this time he will teach attendees how to use social media to communicate with prospective adoptive parents, advocates, volunteers, and donors, and how to keep the public tied into important events within your organization. We are excited to have Erik lecturing on this topic because of his experience and expertise with social media, as well as his passion for adoption. He definitely will be bringing a unique perspective to the Conference!

Erik has a lot to bring to the table as a published author of 24 years. Erik is the co-owner and VP of Creative Services for Professional Blog Service in Indianapolis, Indiana, and has been professionally blogging since 1997. Erik is a travel writer for Visit Indiana, the author of Branding Yourself: Using Social Media to Invent or Reinvent Yourself, participated in writing Twitter Marketing for Dummies, and more.
