Seeking a Family for a Sibling Group!

Our in-country staff in Bulgaria recently shared information with MLJ Adoptions regarding a sibling set of five boys who are currently waiting for a family! We are thankful for the opportunity to advocate for these brothers. They range in ages from 13 to 9, (their real names are Shawn, Josef, Sammy, Migel, and Arthur). These boys have only recently been placed in residential care two years ago and were previously living at home with their family. They are a handsome group of boys, and have the brightest smiles.

Shawn leads his brothers well! As the oldest of the five, he enjoys being active and playing sports. He does his best to set a positive example for the younger four! Shawn is overall healthy with good physical and mental development.

Josef is a rule follower! He is healthy and on target with physical and mental development. Josef always smiles, makes friends easily, and loves to be active. He enjoys listening to music, and playing football and badminton.

Sammy brings calm to the chaos of the children’s home where he lives. He avoids conflict with other children and plays by the rules. He listens well to adults and shows great discipline at school. He is very social and enjoys playing with friends. Sammy is in good health overall and is on target with development.

Migel enjoys being active! He plays with his friends and loves to ride his bike! He is physically healthy with some delays in mental development, which results in some language and learning deficits, but he is progressing well.

Arthur is creative! He loves to draw and dance. He also enjoys playing outside with his brothers and friends. Arthur has been diagnosed with delays in mental and physical development, specifically with his motor skills. It is believed that he will overcome this as he ages. He does receive additional support at school. Arthur loves to draw, dancing, and enjoys playing outside with his brothers and friends.

Our Waiting Child Photolisting is full of other children who are waiting for families! The process to adopt waiting children from Bulgaria is usually an expedited process, with families bringing their children home 12-18 months after officially beginning their adoption.
