Travel to Bulgaria in the Service of Orphans

Webster’s dictionary defines the word service as a helpful act. On April 22nd a team partnering with the Fatherless Foundation will go serve the people of Bulgaria. Many times we as North Americans get stuck in the rut of our everyday life. Life can become very mundane, and your vision is confined to your little circle of life. A service trip is an opportunity to see the world through someone else’s eyes. This is a chance to put others before yourself. Many times these type trips have a way of changing our life perspective.

During this particular trip we will have the opportunity to love on orphans of Bulgaria. Love manifests itself in many different ways. Love may look like rocking a baby, playing duck –duck goose, painting nails, or working on a physical project. Love is not limited to mere words and hugs.

The Bulgarian service trip is not limited to families interested in adoption. This trip is open to families and individuals who are willing to share their time with those less fortunate. If you have, however, thought about adoption from our Bulgarian program, this is a great opportunity to observe first hand the living conditions of these beautiful orphaned children.

The dates of our trip are April 22 – 28, 2012. If you are interested or would like more information on this service trip with the Fatherless Foundation please contact Amy Moore at amy.mljadoptions@gmail.com. Space is limited and we will need confirmations by March 30th.
