Often in our programs, there are children who are ready for adoption before we have families ready to accept the referrals. These children range in age from infancy to age 15, and do not have major special needs. These children are in need of a loving home and family. Families who have already received 171-H approval from USCIS, may contact our program directors directly for a faster referral process. The photos below are not necessarily children who are waiting for a family currently, but represent all the children in need of love, a family, and a home.
While all children deemed as available have been abandoned and all parental legal rights have been terminated, prospective adoptive parents are not guaranteed a specific child until the adoption is completed and approved by the government in the child’s country of origin. These children are not being "held" for families, as we would not want to inhibit these children from finding a forever family. Further, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information provided regarding any specific child with respect to physical health, mental health, behavior, age, availability, etc. Due to the fact that many of these children where abandoned, limited information is available about their backgrounds.
