Myra is an social, artistic and healthy fifteen year old girl. She likes to clean, go on walks, play computer games, and do her hair. Myra follows the rules at school and at home. She has a good memory and concentration and works on assigned tasks with interest. Even though Myra has a mild mental delay, she enjoys communicating with others and is able to make her needs known. She has good motor skills and balance. Myra dreams of having a big family. She feels that parents should take care of their children and love them and hug them.
In addition to being considered for a MLJ Adoptions Special Needs grant, families interested in adopting Myra may also be eligible to receive a reduction in program country fees.
