Erica is a calm and tough twelve year old girl. She interacts with others, and has built relationships with with specific people; she knows the names of the staff and children of the orphanage where she lives. Even though she is blind, Erica able to interact with the world around her through scent, sound and touch. Erica enjoys listening to and dancing to music. She does best once she’s familiar with her environment. Due to her needs, she’ll be best able to develop in a family environment.
In addition to being considered for a MLJ Adoptions Special Needs grant, families interested in adopting Erica may also be eligible to receive a reduction in program country fees.
