Janna Young works as a Home Study Assistant with MLJ Adoptions’ Indiana families and assists them in completing their home study. She enjoys meeting different families, learning their stories and supporting them throughout their adoption process.
Since the beginning of her career, Janna has seen the advantages that a stable, loving and permanent family can give to a child. She’s had many opportunities to journey alongside children and families as they transition from an unstable environment, through ups and downs, to a permanent, loving home. Establishing permanency is vital for a child to thrive and experience joy in a family, as Janna has had the opportunity to witness firsthand.
When she’s not working, Janna enjoys reading, exercising and spending time outside. She and her husband live in Indianapolis.
Janna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern University in St. Davids, PA and completed her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. Much of her 15 year career has been spent serving families in home based settings.
