Karson Loscar works as a Client Intake Specialist for MLJ Adoptions. She joined our team in September of 2018 working as a clerical assistant. In her
role as a Client Intake Specialist, she goes through each country program that we offer and discusses the process, requirements and estimated cost of adopting internationally. She is the first person you work with during your adoption journey whether that be filling out an interest form or submitting your application. She is there to answer all your questions about getting your adoption process started.
Growing up in a military family, moving around every so many years, has developed independence and discipline at a young age with a love for helping others. Her family has pushed her to strive for the best and always put 110% effort into everything. About half way through her undergraduate schooling, she decided she wanted to pursue social work to be able to help others, especially children, in a way that not many people can.
When she is not at work, Karson likes to exercise, cook, socialize and catch up on her favorite episodes. She is a big fan of football and Indy Car racing, she looks forward to this every year. She loves to go back to her hometown in northern Indiana to visit with her family and friends. Family is very important to her and that is why she enjoys working with international adoption to help bring together families that were meant to be.
Karson recently earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She previously was attending Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) on a cross country and track scholarship. She will be attending graduate school in the fall of 2019 to obtain her Master’s in Social Work.
