Mabel is a social fourteen year old. She loves to be outside and likes to play with the children in the neighborhood. She also likes to collect cones from the woods and is delighted when her foster mom takes her on walks. Mabel watches Indian serial shows on television and can share information about the characters. Her favorite food is barbecue, but she had admitted that she doesn’t like tomatoes. Despite struggling when she was younger to communicate, Mabel is now able to speak in full sentences and also receives speech therapy.
In addition to being considered for a MLJ Adoptions Special Needs grant, families interested in adopting Mabel have receive reduced foreign fees.
