MLJ Adoptions is excited to announce our Annual Celebrate Africa Party! We invite you to join the MLJ Adoptions team as we celebrate the rich African culture!
This annual family event will be full of fun activities such as crafts, art, dancing, and of course food! This year’s party will be our 5th annual celebration, and we hope it’s the best one yet.
This themed party presents a great opportunity to connect with other families and stay active in the MLJ adoption network. Talk with those who are currently in the adoption process with Burkina Faso or who have brought their children home from Congo. This is also a wonderful time to celebrate your child’s birth country. Share your experiences with others, and learn more about the exciting world of Africa! All families are invited to attend the Africa Party, regardless of where you are in your adoption journey.

A main dish and drinks will be provided, but we are asking that those attending bring a dish of your choice for a pitch-in. We encourage you to try and bring an African inspired dish; our Pinterest page has several dishes that could make a great contribution. Tiffany Turner is in a yearlong internship program at MLJ Adoptions as part of her Bachelor’s of Social Work studies at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Upon graduation in the spring of 2016, Tiffany hopes to work with children in the foster care system.
