Nationalities Council of Indiana to host 36th Annual INDY International Festival

Looking for a great way to celebrate National Adoption Month this November? Have fun and stay warm this weekend by joining Indianapolis in this great cultural event!

Consider taking some time this year to celebrate the culture and traditions of your adopted child’s birth country, as well as other countries all over the world! The Nationalities Council of Indiana is hosting this year’s 36th Annual Indy International Festival, an event to represent and bring together the 50+ ethnic groups within the Central Indiana area.

The following are just a few of the many highlighted features at the festival this year:

• LEGO Builders to re-create famous international landmarks

• European Gaming Center to play bocce ball and other European sports

• Polish Folk Song & Dance Ensemble

• Italian Street Painting

• & much more!

This event would be a great bonding experience for the entire family and is a fun way to learn about diversity and the many different cultures worldwide. From exotic food and music, to unique crafts and gifts, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

When: November 16 2:00 – 9:00 PM

November 17 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

November 18 12:00 – 6:00 PM

Where: West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds

Cost: Adult Tickets $8.00 in advance, $10.00 at the door

Children (6-12) $6.00 flat fee
