MLJ Adoptions is excited to announce that we will again be adding to our team! Our programs continue to grow, and more help is needed to ensure we are providing the best possible services to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly organized, dependable individual to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be personable, self-motivated, computer proficient, able to multi-task, and have a heart for finding homes for children.

This is a full time position, with working hours 9am-5pm Monday through Thursday and 9am-4pm on Friday. Starting pay will be approximately $10 – $12.50/hour. Responsibilities will include answering, screening, and transferring phone calls, greeting walk-in guests, sorting and sending mail, maintaining filing systems, preparing documents, calendar management using Outlook, assisting with travel arrangements, and other general clerical duties. The individual we hire must be skilled in Microsoft Office and Outlook and have strong oral and written communication skills. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
